The George Washington Bridge at Sunset – (Color Version)

This photo was taken from the newly restore Yonkers Waterfront during a particularly vibrant sunset in late fall. Lately there has been so much talk about our crumbling infrastructure. The GW is a testimonial to our past commitment to growing our infrastructure and our future. It was completed during the darkest days of the Great Depression. The newly restored Yonkers waterfront is a hopeful symbol of our renewed commitment to our future. The Freedom Tower is also visible under construction.

As a general rule, sunsets should be shot in color, but strangely, this particular photo looks wonderful in black and white as well.   Check out the black and white version at this link: The GW Bridge at Sunset – (B&W).
