Ok, I’ve gotta admit, I’m not much of a car person. For me, a car is transportation. Sure I like a nice car, but its not the be-all and end- all of my life. However – every once in a while you see a car that says “WOW!” Now, not being a car person, I wasn’t sure what it was that I was photographing. I just knew that it was vintage and that it was completely AWWWEEEESOME. This is the second time I’ve seen and photographed an vintage car in the last few months. They must be looking for me now….
Not being an expert – I had to ask a friend what Thunderbird was. After the initial shock wore off and look of horror that I could be so ignorant wore off, my friend informed me that the Thunderbird was was Ford’s answer to the Corvette in the 1950’s. Pretty neat stuff. I put the interior up front and center because it was so amazingly different from what we see today. What a cool car!
It also goes to show you that you should always have your camera ready. I was just at the dry cleaners picking up some things. So – you never know what you might see….
